Fly Fishing Institute

Cold River Outfitters
The inspiration and mission of WFFI is to introduce and
advance women
in the sport of fly fishing by offering a wide variety of classes,
workshops, trips and transformational fly fishing retreats for women of
all ages and abilities. Instruction is provided by some of
the most talented and highly skilled women guides in the
Northeast. All classes and workshops can be customized
according to the interests of the participants and can include a
variety of other activities such as kayaking, yoga, hiking, horseback
riding, or a trip to the flagship Orvis store in Manchester, Vermont.

Weekend Retreat Package –
One day fishing option
$300 per person includes all lodging, meals, and one day of fishing
instruction and/or guided fishing customized to participants' skill
level. This is a condensed version of the
full
weekend package and only includes one day of fishing on

Learn proper fly casting techniques

Women's Destination Trips
in green mountains of Vermont, the White
Mountains of New Hampshire, and the Adirondacks of New

Individualized or Group
Instruction – kick it up a notch! Do
you need help improving your casting, selecting the right flies or
learning where to find fish? Spend a couple of
hours, an afternoon or longer improving your skills and gaining
confidence for catching more fish and fewer trees!
Guided Trips
– in the Rutland/Killington area, Washington County NY, and
beyond. Enjoy spectacular scenery wade fishing in
one or several of the many streams in the heart of the Green Mountains
of Vermont and beautiful Washington County NY.
A full day trip includes all equipment
and lunch.
